Math Lab

Mathematics provides students with the opportunity to understand and discover the beauty, importance and relevance of a discipline which is the key to success in many fields. At SGPS, Attingal we have a well equipped Mathematics laboratory. It is a place where learning becomes fun. The laboratory’s approach of teaching the subject helps the child to imbibe the concepts using concrete materials. This lab is designed keeping the guidelines of NEP in mind, because the application of Mathematics are extensive and diverse.NEP provides flexibility to students to apply their knowledge and SGPS through the facilities provided in our school lab help the students achieve the same. The Mathematics lab comprises of a variety of a mathematical teaching aids in the form of shapes, patterns, models, games, charts, CD’s, Books etc, which is useful for effective learning. To enhance interest in the subject frequent competitions and activities are conducted by the club. Students are specially trained for National Level Competitions like Maths Olympiad.
